A celebrant works with you to create the service you want. We can meet in person, online or chat on the phone so I can learn about your loved one. I will incorporate your favourite memories, music they loved, readings/poems and offering the opportunity for anyone who wishes to speak.
I specialise in tailoring funerals to the individual. I aim to capture their essence. If you want to honour their humour, we can pack the service with their jokes. If they loved music, I will include their favourite pieces. If they loved purple (as I do), we can all wear purple. If they were more traditional, we can ensure everything is done 'properly'. A funeral should reflect the person you are saying goodbye to.
A Humanist Funeral focuses on the deceased. The ceremony is about honouring them, not about religion. It can be as unique and personal as the individual we are celebrating. We focus on the relationships they formed, their achievements and your memories of them.
