A celebrant works with you to create the service you want. We can meet in person or online to discuss things in detail. We can incorporate your favourite memories, music they loved, readings/poems and offering the opportunity for anyone who wishes to speak.
I specialise in tailoring funerals to the individual. If they were fun and wanted a light-hearted service, that is my aim. If they loved music, I will include their favourite pieces. If they loved purple (as I do), we can all wear purple. If they were more traditional, we can ensure everything is done 'properly'. A funeral should reflect the person you are saying goodbye to.
A Humanist Funeral focuses on the deceased. The ceremony is about honouring them, not about religion. It can be as unique and personal as the individual we are celebrating. We focus on the relationships they formed, their achievements and your memories of them.
